Ascentest has delivered a test system for measuring ice thickness of the Antarctic ice surface.
The system will serve in the extreme environment during China's 29th Antarctic Scientific Expedition.

The system implements the Time Domain fuction of Vector Network Analyzer with highly accurate test accessories and customized system components, to measure the absolute ice thickness and relative thickness changes.
Comparing with the traditional GPR, Ground Penetrating Radar, the system feasures lower power consumption, easier deployment and operation, and higher accuracy.
